Brown is giving a free presentation at the Southeast Alska Discovery Center this Friday (April 11, 2003) at 7 p.m. entitled, "Silver Work of the Northwest Coast, Past and Present." ![]() Evelyn Vorhees-Brown practices silver engraving techniques during Steve Brown's Northwest Coast Silver Engraving I class at the Totem Heritage Center. Vorhees-Brown, who comes to Ketchikan regularly from the East Coast to participate in the Center's classes, is also in Brown's History of Northwest Coast Art class.
