Brown is giving a free presentation at the Southeast Alska Discovery Center this Friday (April 11, 2003) at 7 p.m. entitled, "Silver Work of the Northwest Coast, Past and Present."

 

Evelyn Vorhees-Brown Engraving

Evelyn Vorhees-Brown practices silver engraving techniques during Steve Brown's Northwest Coast Silver Engraving I class at the Totem Heritage Center. Vorhees-Brown, who comes to Ketchikan regularly from the East Coast to participate in the Center's classes, is also in Brown's History of Northwest Coast Art class. Both classes are being offered at the Center through the end of this week.
