"Rhonda the ORCA Corn Lady"

Among the many friendly smiles you'll find in Ketchikan one of the friendliest greeting locals and visitors alike is the smile of Rhonda Madaffari - also known affectionately by many as "Rhonda the ORCA Corn Lady".

Madaffari realized her life long dream of opening her own gourmet kettle corn business in Ketchikan three years ago. She has lived in Ketchikan for over 21 years and calls Ketchikan home year round.

Nine months of the year the smell of fresh ORCA corn wafts through the downtown air. Three months of the year Rhonda takes a break from her six day a week business. The demand for ORCA Corn throughout S.E. Alaska has led to it being "exported" to Sitka and keeps Madaffari busy filling shipping orders.

Always with a delightful smile the "ORCA Corn Lady" offers free samples of her kettle corn.
