Ketchikan, Alaska - The winning ducks are in for the First City Rotary's 15th Annual Rubber Duck Race held in Ketchikan, Alaska on the Fourth of July. The payoff was big for Jamie Elkins whose lucky rubber duck claimed the 1st place prize for him. Elkins' fast moving little rubber duck earned him a big bundle of cash in the amount of $2,500.

First City Rotary President Harry Martin reported there were 3,500 rubber ducks for this year's 2003 Ididaduck race. Martin reported that all the tickets were sold raising $35,000.00 for charity. Proceeds of the Annual Duck Race will be used to install a power door assist at Community Connections, a picnic shelter at Totem Bight and provide an accessible beach access trail at Settler's Cove.
