Mrs. Elliot's and Ms. Hammersland's students have been learning the months of the year with song -- and the lyrics for each month ends with an enthusiastic 'Chicken Soup with Rice'! Thus the 'Chicken Soup with Rice' luncheon held on the last day of January.
Mrs. Elliot holds the book the students are learning the months from and turns the pages which depict scenes from the stories for each month. The students enjoyed the singing and sharing with their parents and did an excellent job.  Afterwards, chicken soup with rice, rolls, milk, juice, and crackers were served. A good time was had by all!
