The Ketchikan Fire Department and the South Tongass Fire Department held a joint fire fighting training exercise on Sunday, November 10th. The training exercise started at approximately 9 am at Mile 4 North Tongass Highway and Ridgewood Street and lasted until around 3 pm.

The owners of the residence offered the old building for the fire fighting training allowing it to be burned down. Approximately 40-50 members of the two Fire Departments were involved in the training exercise.
