Ketchikan, AK - Ketchikan Gateway Borough Manager Roy Eckert announced on Wednesday that the his office had received a letter of resignation from Public Works Director Dick Smith. The letter of resignation was received by the Borough Manager's office on Tuesday, June 24th with an effective date of July 1, 2003.

Quoting the news release Borough Manager Eckert wrote, "Mr. Smith will truly be missed, and we wish him well in his future endeavors."
