The final score game one: Maynards 8 - Ketchikan Merchants 3. In game two against the Maynards, Matt Way pitched for Ketchikan and also did a fine job giving up 5 runs on 4 hits according to Bass. Way had 7 walks and 6 bases on balls but Way gave up only 2 earned runs - 3 runs coming with 2 outs after an error. The Ketchikan Merchants had 5 hits, 2 runs and left 9 on base. Maynards' pitching only struck out 4. Bass reported the Ketchikan Merchants had the lead in the 2nd when the Maynards got their 5 runs. After that Way and the Ketchikan Merchants defense tightened up to keep them scoreless said Bass. The final score game two: Maynards 5 - Ketchikan Merchants 2.
