This colorful community exhibit encompasses all things salmon, including antique fishing gear, cannery related items, salmon-inspired garments, derby photos, salmon artwork and much more. These items - on loan from area residents and featuring artifacts from the Museum collection - provide a fascinating view of the community, its rich history and Ketchikan's fondness for that most splendid of fish, the salmon. Some Things Fishy: Ketchikan and the Salmon is on exhibit at the Tongass Historical Museum through September 30, 2003. Call 225-5900 for more information.
