Christensen has been a KGH employee for over two years. She began in the Materials Management before transferring to Health Information. Her duties include: filing patient charts that are returned from the outpatient procedures, inpatient stays, and emergency visits; pulling charts for review; archiving of the old charts; and assisting in the many other functions of the department. Her short-term plans include courses in Medical Terminology. The co-worker who nominated her stated, "We have had to rely on her many, many times when we have been short handed, but she has always stepped up to the challenges without complaint. Betty is truly the glue that holds our department together." The award of Employee of the
