The report card presents information from the 2001-2002 school year about each public school in the state. Information includes results from state-mandated student assessments, and other information such as rates of attendance, retention, graduation and dropout; grades served, number of high school graduates, and more. This is the third time EED has published the annual report on a school-by-school basis. Earlier versions of the report reflected district level data only. The department mailed 900 CD-ROM copies of the report last week to superintendents, all school principals, libraries, universities, legislators, school policies makers and others. For a copy of the CD-ROM, contact Shannon Ludwig, 465-2900. EED did not print hard copies
of the report because of its large size. According to information
provided by EED, the report on paper would have encompassed about
1,800 pages.
