Ketchikan General Hospital's first baby of 2003, Melanie Rose was born at 8:14 am on Thursday, January 02, 2003. Baby girl Melanie Rose weighed 8 pounds & 2 ounces.

Mike and Melissa, Melanie Rose's proud parents reside in Ketchikan. Grandmother Diana Porter from the village of Naukati on Prince of Wales was in Ketchikan for the birth.
