Dr. C. William Hanke the
President of AAAHA wrote, "Granting accreditation reflects
our confidence, based on evidence from your recent survey, that
you meet, and will continue to demonstrate throughout the accreditation
term, the attributes of an accreditable organization as outlined
by the standards in the 'Accreditation Handbook for Ambulatory
Health Care'." Hanke further stated, "The spirit of
those standards implies a commitment to continual self-evaluation
and improvement."
Ketchikan Indian Community
Tribal Health Clinic accreditation is for a term of three years
and expires on November 21, 2005. Prior to the expiration date,
the Clinic will have an opportunity to reapply for accreditation
in order maintain its accredited status.
Hanke wrote, "The dedication
and effort necessary for an organization to be accredited is
substantial and your organization is to be commended for this
accomplishment."
